Explore new opportunities, question your routines, and shake up old habits!
Participants will learn how to curate their own careers by setting goals and identifying opportunites for growth. We will also look at how to use your library data better to develop more effective programs, and why advocacy using data is all about the stories.
Topics on the day will cover:
- assessing your training needs and goal setting, identifying PD opportunities, embracing opportunities to learn new (unexpected) things
- why is data important, and what library staff should know about it
- where to find good data to help you develop effective library programs
- how to use it to your advantage when communicating with different groups (i.e. Council, community groups, library members etc..)
